Binance Smart Chain Announces Listing of BEP20 – SLP

Today, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) announced the listing of BEP20 – SLP. Through this, higher gas fees can be avoided compared to having the ERC20-SLP.

On August 16, 2021, BSC shared the great news on Twitter.

Several twitter users have also expressed their excitement about this announcement. One Twitter user said, ‘amazing savings on gas and PancakeSwap will probably add an SLP farm with HUGE APR.’

Of note, BEP-20 is a Binance Smart Chain token standard that was created with the intent of extending ERC-20, which is one of the most common Ethereum token standards. Essentially, BEP-20 acts as a blueprint on how to spend a token, who can use it, and even the means by which it can be used.

Small Love Potion also known as SLP are tokens earned by playing the Axie Infinity game. They can be used to breed new digital pets that are known as Axies. Over the past months, Axie has been rising and making headlines as it gained popularity across the world.
