Call of Duty League: Subliners Could Enter Top Three

Source Node: 834244

From April 29th, the Call of Duty League will enter the second week of Stage Three – the Paris Legion Home Series. If anything, Paris desperately needs that home advantage boost, as the team currently sits second from bottom with a paltry record of 4 – 11.

However, with that miserable point expressed, let’s look to the rest of the week. There are some incredible matches ahead, bursting with the potential for excitement and upset. If you’re interested in some Call of Duty betting, look no further than this week’s schedule.

Will Subliners Skyrocket Up The Call of Duty League?

The New York Subliners are in impeccable form following an intense victory over Atlanta FaZe last week. The squad, driven by the hypebeast that is Clayster, snatched an eleventh round SND win from the Search Masters themselves.

Now, the Subliners pose a risk to the top three, particularly to OpTic Chicago, who could drop down this week. The OpTic side will be forced to compete against the LA Thieves, a team that has won five out of its last six matches. Since the Thieves shook up its roster, the team has been performing extremely well and could grab a win from OpTic.

If OpTic was to lose its only match this week, and the Subliners were to win both of its matches, the latter side would cruise into the top three. And, considering NYSL is facing off against London and Seattle this week, that is a distinct possibility.

Royal Ravens Ravenous for Redemption

The London Royal Ravens are desperate for a win, sitting broke at the bottom of the Call of Duty League standings. At present, their record stands at 2 – 12, and they’re 195 points behind the League leaders, Atlanta FaZe.

Unfortunately, the Ravens haven’t won a game since March 26th, when they handed the LA Thieves a decisive 3 – 1 loss. Since then, however, the team has gone on to lose five matches back-to-back. The roster has seen more changes than any other squad in the Call of Duty League, and something has to give.

Although, if the Ravens are going to win this week, they’ll need to produce a miracle. In the coming days, they’ll be facing off against the New York Subliners (4th) and Atlanta FaZe (1st). It’s an extremely unforgiving group for the Ravens, who are having a terrible season.

Dallas Looking to Do Damage

In a remarkable sweep, Toronto Ultra beat Dallas Empire 3 – 0 last week. This week, Dallas has one opportunity to gain a little ground, going face-to-face with the Los Angeles Guerrillas. In recent weeks, both of these sides have made roster changes, both to the approval and dismay of fans.

Dallas currently sits in second place, but as we approach the third Major Tournament, they need to close the distance against Atlanta FaZe. It can be argued that the Empire has three relatively predictable matches before the Major hits, but not everything is set in stone.

Can a refreshed roster overcome the likes of the Guerrillas, the Mutineers, and the Rokkr over the course of the next two weeks? Time will tell.
