Nintendo is releasing Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp later this year, and it is currently up for preorder.
Nintendo surprised many fans when it announced a remake of the first two Advance Wars games during E3 Nintendo Direct. The game will release on Nintendo Switch on Dec. 3, 2021, making it the first new title in the series since Days of Ruin released in 2008.
Fans have been begging for a new Advance Wars game for a while, and the sudden announcement of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp may indicate Nintendo is testing for fans’ interest in the classic series. A revival of the series may be possible if all goes well.
You can currently preorder physical and digital versions of the game from certain sellers. There aren’t any preorder bonuses yet, but it won’t be surprising if Nintendo decides to add some bonuses to incentivize sales.
