Capcom Reveals Kunitsu-Gami Gameplay Footage – MonsterVine

As part of the 2024 Xbox Partner Preview showcase, Capcom released new gameplay footage from Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Following Soh, a warrior whose duty is to protect villagers and purge the evil infecting the land alongside Yoshiro, the Maiden of the mountain, players will be asked to put both their combat and strategic skills to the test.

By day, the player will rescue villagers and prepare the village’s defenses. When night falls, hordes of monsters known as the Seethe will attack, and the player must defend Yoshiro and fight alongside the villagers to keep the Seethe at bay.

This day-to-night pattern will be the primary gameplay loop as players work to purge the land’s defilement. Kunitsu-Gami will be out later this year for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, while also being a Game Pass title.

More details about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be shown tomorrow, March 7, in the Capcom Highlights stream at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET.
