Kinda sad to see both Classic/Zest and Percival/Byun happen here, those are all players I would like to see get further.

Was Leenock in the military? Feels like I haven’t seen him in years.

I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky’s 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.

Leenock didn’t played a map until recently since mid 2018, so there’s probably no other way to explain beside he went to the military

Rough draws for Classic and Gumiho, though they’re not totally undoable. On the plus side for returnees, one of Keen/Ryung is guaranteed and Offline Cure will likely usher Leenock into the Ro16.

Also looking forward to Ragnarok/sOs.

What is it with Zest getting elite Protoss opponents in Code A? Last season it was Parting, this season it’s Classic.

Solar vs Gumiho if Gumiho was at peak condition would be a SUPER close and epic series, career wise I see the two as very even. But Gumiho just got back from the military so I have to believe Solar is highly favored this time around.

I’m gonna come out and say it: Every single one of these matches is a heartbreaker. I can’t tell if they found some near-perfectly calibrated algorithm for finding matchups where every outcome would leave me sad to see the loser go, or what.

Looks like a lot of good matches here. But there is a lot of potential for stomps. Zest is kind of slumping and Classic is making a comeback. They’ll be playing PvP, a matchup that anyone can get great at. I expect either an even match or a stomp were Zest shows that you need the active experience to win.

Same here, it is the most sad tournament ever, I hope they can make it 4 players group stage so everyone get more chances to show off.
