The Code S Season 3 qualifiers were held on September 12th, resulting in four Code S spots changing hands.

Terran dominated the first two seasons of Code S, but the tide shifted in the Season 3 qualifier as the number of Terrans dropped from eight to five. Zerg gained two net players (five total), while Protoss added on returnee Stats to bring their total to six.

The lightly attended qualifier had one major surprise, as (Wiki)sOs competed in the GSL for the first time since 2021. While sOs announced his retirement in September of 2021, he has been making sporadic tournament appearances in 2023. sOs was eliminated by Scarlett in a final qualifying match.

Congrats to Scarlett!

Honestly, 4 awesome players in, 4 awesome players out. Gonna be a good season!

I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Stats in feels good. I miss the old days, when Stats was the best protoss out there, even challenging god-tier Serral in some instances

Dark Age of Camelot – I miss you

Awww, Ragnarok is my favorite zerg. Does anyone know if TY is still trying to split his time between SC2 and BW?

He apparently did not try to qualify for ASL, so I think he is not splitting anymore
