CSGO: ENCE Breeze past forZe in 2 maps, secure quarters berth PlatoAiStream PlatoAiStream. Data Intelligence. Vertical Search. Ai.

The international roster defeated the CIS team in a convincing 2-0 manner in the round of 12 of ESL Pro League Season 14, to book them a place in the Quarter Finals, to face Natus Vincere for a shot at the semi-finals. The roster was already looking hot to trot in the groups, losing only to Heroic and continued their hot streak with a 2-0 win, also brining forZe’s 17 map winning streak on Mirage, which included the likes of OG and G2 esports.

MAP VETO

  • ENCE removed Inferno
  • forZe removed Vertigo
  • ENCE picked Nuke
  • forZe picked Mirage
  • ENCE removed Overpass
  • forZe removed Dust2
  • Ancient was left over

MAP 1: Nuke

(Picked by: ENCE, Won by: ENCE, Final Score: 16:5)

ForZe had been less than impressive on Nuke for a while and ENCE cashed in on that chance as they picked it right away and started on the T side. IGL Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer was on point with his calls and entries on the A site, exploding in almost every round, not giving the yard smokes or ramp any respect. Along with Pawel ‘dycha’ Dycha , ENCE mounted 10 T rounds to end the half 10:5.

The roster then showed why the map is CT sided as they won the pistol and conversion and the subsequent rounds, not giving the Russians a single T round, despite ‘almazer’s best efforts. forZe crumbled and lost the map 16:5.

MAP 2: Mirage

(Picked by: forZe, Won by: ENCE, Final Score: 16:11)

Mirage was forZe’s own territory, having won it 17 times without fail in the last 3 months, against top 10 teams. But ENCE was a different flavour for them as they proved too hot to handle. forZe did start off well with the pistol but were shut down immediately as ENCE went on a 6 round streak thanks to Olek ‘hades’ Miskiewicz’s AWP and Sphinx’s B site holds another 5 rounds on the trot saw them notch a lead of 11:4 at the half.

Things did get difficult for ENCE on the T side as forZe evened out the score at 11:11, with ‘FL1T’ putting up huge multi-kills. But it wasn’t to last though, as ENCE needed just 5 rounds, and they delivered when needed most, winning half buys and full buy rounds alike to send them sailing through at 16:11

End of the road for forZe

Brought in as a substitute team, forZe punched well above their weight, making playoffs ahead of G2 and Virtus Pro from Group B, but the road ended here as the RO12 separated the men from the boys. ENCE go through to meet NAVi while forZe are eliminated in 9-12th position alongside Complexity and mouseports.

Team Liquid play fnatic later today to fight for the last quarter finals spot.
