  • Dutch artist Dadara donated his Peace Bombs to the “Create for Ukraine” initiative to help people affected by the war in Ukraine.
  • The Peace Bombs artwork has the highest bid among 106 NFTs being auctioned off at OpenSea.
  • All proceeds will go to the Ukrainian Red Cross, UkraineDAO, and Unchain.

After assigning a CryptoGreyman for each person in the world, Dutch artist Dadara joined other NFT artists to donate their art to support humanitarian relief in Ukraine.

On March 4, the “Create for Ukraine” campaign was launched by Codmire Games Founder Vishwas Bhushan, NFT artist Leafswan, and MonikaNFT. The initiative aims to help people affected by the ongoing dispute through donations from the collection auction.

The collection consists of a total of 106 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) coming from various art movements and is being auctioned off at OpenSea. The project includes Dadara’s art entitled “Peace Bombs,” showing five bomber aircraft dropping air-to-ground weaponry that spells out the word “PEACE.”

Starting bid for all the artwork in the collection was 0.02 WETH and has now climbed up.

As of posting time, the Peace Bombs’ top bid is at 0.1991 Wrapped ETH (WETH) or over $500, making Dadara’s work the highest bid over art in the collection. Peace Bombs is followed by “A Call for Peace” by xenotrip with a top bid of 0.105 WETH or $265.

All primary and secondary sales from the auction will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross, UkraineDAO, and Unchain – a charity project created by blockchain activists to support Ukraine.

The sale will end on March 7, 2022, at 6:40 PM (UTC +4). The auction will extend, however, for another 10 minutes when a new highest bid is placed under 10 minutes remaining.

Earlier, Dadara made headlines when he launched CyrptoGreyman, an NFT collection consisting of 7.9 billion digital assets. Humanitarian aid was tied in the project that would benefit multiple refugees.
