We’ve been demolishing and building for years, having first taken the hard hat back in 2020. Today though our skills will be put to the test like never before, as Demolish & Build Classic releases on Xbox. 

Demolish & Build Classic is the latest to come from the aptly named Demolish Games. It’s they who have teamed up with Ultimate Games to provide Xbox players with some further demolishing gameplay. There’s a bit of building to get involved in too – as the name suggests. 

Take your construction to the next level

Pitting you as a construction and demolition company owner, Demolish & Build Classic has previously launched on Nintendo Switch. It now comes to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, inspired and based on the previously released simulator, Demolish & Build 2017. 

I don’t think we need to sit here and talk you through the finer intricacies of Demolish & Build Classic. The name gives pretty much everything away, as you go about knocking things down, before building them back up again. You’ll be smashing up wooden huts and taking down the biggest of office buildings. 

In order to do so, you’ll need gear and equipment. Thankfully Demolish & Build Classic has all the tools you need for the job. There’s bulldozers, cranes, rollers and more; all specialised enough to let you get on with things. 

And of course, as the owner of a construction company, you’ll need to do so hiring and firing too.

And the available machines on offer

  • Tower crane – deliver your materials to normally unreachable spots.
  • Bulldozer – this heavy machine is great for demolition of small structures, as well as trampling vegetation and flattening terrain.
  • Skid Loader – a small, but awesome machine. It can dig, demolish and carry loads. Just attach the required part to do the job.
  • Excavator – to do serious digging or demolition, attach a specific tool to the excavator arm.
  • Road Roller – useful for compacting sand and asphalt roads.
  • Pickup Truck – perfect to drive between contract locations.
  • Dump Truck – perfect for delivering sand or metal scraps.
  • Crawler Crane – comes with a wrecking ball, no structure will stand a chance against it.
  • Concrete Mixer Truck – if you need to pour some concrete on your construction site.
  • Cargo Truck – designed to carry wood, bricks and concrete segments to construction sites.

Demolish & Build Classic is on Xbox right now. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download, letting you play on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
