We’re still amazed by the sheer amount of content that has been introduced to Hunt: Showdown since first release. But it’s a game that continues to stay fresh via multiple DLC packs. The latest is that of Hunt: Showdown – Myth of the Moors. 

Available right now for Hunt: Showdown players to enjoy is the new Myth of the Moor content. Although honestly, we’re not sure ‘enjoy’ is something that should be associated with the Moor. But it certainly doesn’t skimp on what is on offer, with a new Hunter,  and multiple new weapons present and correct. 

New Hunt: Showdown – Myths of the Moor content

It’s priced at £8.39, and playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. If you’re a Hunt: Showdown player on other formats, you should expect to see this in place too. 

Drop in and the usual Hunt: Showdown tale will play out. There are rumours of a Black Dog present on the Moor, with a focus on Jacob coming to the fore. It’s a deep tale, hugely detailed as per all previous Hunt: Showdown content packs.

But it’s the inclusion of the latest weapons and Hunter that will be of most interest to players. and it’s here where you’ll find the Hunt: Showdown – Myth of the Moors DLC providing access to The Moorhound as a new Hunter. Alongside them is the Maw of Darkness (Romero 77), the Hell’s Dewclaw (Caldwell Pistol) and the Snarling Dawn (Flare Pistol). Names that are sure to scare off anything you may meet out on the Moor itself. 

Travel to the Moors with Hunt: Showdown

The Xbox Store will provide access to the new Myth of the Moors content in Hunt: Showdown on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Expect to find it on other formats too. 

Hunt: Showdown as a base game is playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.

DLC Description

Tales of a fearsome black dog permeate every corner of Wales, Scotland, and England. Occasionally a protector of the land, it is more commonly an omen and bringer of death, as was the case in the Welsh town of Portmadoc. Thus, a party of six set out with one motive: slay the black hound that haunted their moors. All six ignored mockery, counsel, and pleas before disappearing into the moors’ eternal mist. The town waited until morning for their return. Believers waited a week. Families waited a month. But when the seasons changed, all gave up hope.
