Dogecoin Wins as Best Option for Transacting Payments

Shark Tank star — Mark Cuban believes that Dogecoin is the ‘strongest’ crypto in terms of a ‘medium of exchange’. This means that he believed DOGE is the best option for a crypto that can be used for payments.

In light of his announcement, ‘Dogefather’ — Elon Musk, responds in a tweet. He says that this is what he’s been saying for a long time now. It is no secret that Elon Musk is possibly the biggest believer and the top fan of the famous meme crypto — Dogecoin (DOGE). One of the reasons the tech titan loves the coin is due to its immensely supportive community.

However, it seems that the beloved meme crypto now has another titan of a fan in Mark Cuban. In fact, Mark Cuban believes in the crypto so much that his sports team — the Dallas Mavericks, has begun adopting Dogecoin payments.

Moreover, the Mavericks are also actively using DOGE. Mark Cuban says that his NBA team will soon be offering “special pricing for those who pay in Dogecoin”.

Like Elon Musk, Mark Cuban is also aware of how the Dogecoin community is strong enough to leverage crypto as a good option for a medium of exchange. Therefore, he argues that DOGE is the strongest option for making payments in exchange for goods and services.

Some argue that Dogecoin fails to meet the mark as it has no actual utility or value. Not to mention, the supply of Dogecoin is unlimited, this further leads to more skepticism among crypto investors and traders.

Accordingly, a Twitter user asks Mark Cuban this very question in a tweet.

As we see from the tweet Cuban does not hesitate in replying that, unlike other cryptos, DOGE is actually used for transactions. While traders tend to hodl most cryptos, that is not the case with DOGE. Thus, as more businesses begin to accept crypto, the more likely it is that Dogecoin will ultimately become the next option for payments.
