In Dead End City you’ll find a world that has fallen into disarray, under control by the post-apocalyptic punks of Scorpio. It’s this gang who rule the roadways and it’s up to you to put a stop to their wicked ways.

Taking to the open road, you get behind the wheel of your car; a heavily armed vehicle called the Chariot. It’s here where you head north, speeding through town, grabbing fuel, taking out Scorpio as you go. Oh yeah, and you’ll be doing do in order to try and save your most beloved.

Dead End City is available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for the latter consoles. It’s also on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, and you should be looking at a rough £12.49 asking price in order to gain access.

That feels about right for a vertically scrolling Eastasiasoft shooter, especially one that brings the thrills of the iconic classics to a modern day audience. We just hope it plays as well as it is set up to – we’ll let you know in full review.

Civilization has fallen and the few remaining survivors are now the playthings of a gang of post-apocalyptic punks called Scorpio. Your little slice of heaven was raided and your loved ones have been carried off to Scorpio’s stronghold. With nothing left to lose, you head out onto the open road, armed to the teeth and ready to fight through their territory to bring an end to their reign.

Dead End City is a post-apocalyptic vertical shooter. You drive a heavily armed car called a Chariot into the wastelands to rescue your loved ones from Scorpio, a gang that has conquered what little is left of humanity.
