The Dane is moved to the inactive roster after two months’ worth of service.

ECSTATIC have announced that Benjamin “brzer” Jensen is no longer a part of their active roster. The move brings an end to a brief two-month partnership between the 20-year-old and the Danish organisation, which began with brzer‘s signing back in August.

brzer will continue to play with the squad on a temporary basis, the organization has stated. “Brzer will be representing us in the remainder of the ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe while we are looking for a replacement.”

brzer is moved to ECSTATIC’s bench after putting up a 0.92 rating

brzer joined ECSTATIC as a replacement for the outgoing Jakob “Daffu” Schildt. The 20-year-old AWPer struggled to find his footing in his two months with the squad, however, as he averaged a modest 0.92 rating across the 69 maps played.

The team’s biggest test with brzer on their ranks came in the form of their run through the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR event. The Danish quintet notably bowed out of the Major-qualifying tournament in joint-last place, heading home with a 0-3 record after suffering a 0-16 trouncing to G2, an overtime defeat to B8, and an 0-2 hounding by forZe.

ECSTATIC also tried their hand at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Europe. The Marcus “maNkz” Kjeldsen-led roster went home in the first round after being bested 0-2 by Heroic, but not before giving the world’s tenth-best team a bloody nose with respectable 14-16 and 9-16 scorelines.
