Elbit Systems selected as integration partner for major Swedish digitalisation programme

Elbit Systems Sweden will oversee the roll-out of LSS Mark for the Swedish Army. Elbit Systems Sweden has been selected as the integration partner for the Swedish Army’s digitalisation programme LSS Mark, the company announced on 25 October.

LSS Mark is a new tactical command-and-control (C2) system being introduced to the Swedish Armed Forces on a unit-by-unit basis, beginning with the army. Tens of thousands of existing and future platforms in the armed forces, such as armoured vehicles, tanks, combat boats, and cars will be installed with the system.

As part of the EUR170 million (USD179.88 million) contract, Elbit Systems will be responsible for integrating and operationalising LSS Mark for the Swedish Army. This will comprise integrating, installing, maintaining, and upgrading C2 systems on a variety of platforms from command posts and vehicles, through to dismounted systems.
