With many of the Open Cup regulars traveling home after EPT Winter/Atlanta, Week #206 of the Open Cups seemed set up for MaxPax domination. However, the mysterious Dane also took the week off, making it one of the most unpredictable weeks of cup competition ever.
The cups began with Chinese Terran player 
Coffee winning on the Korean server, going through Klose, Stats, and Jieshi to take his first ever weekly cup.
Coffee didn’t just stop there, as he went all the way to the finals of the European server cup as well. However, he wasn’t able to complete the weekly double (which would surely have been the craziest double in cup history), as he fell 2-3 to Krystianer in the finals.
The competitions concluded with SpeCial triumphing on the American server, going through uThermal, Jason, and Jieshi to take the weekly title.
