Everything You Need to Know About Warzone Season 5

Warzone is an ever-changing landscape and the same will apply to whatever Season 5 brings us. For most of year one, Warzone’s changes were minor as it seemed there was a balance that nobody wanted to upset, even with rampant issues like cheating.

With the introduction of year two of Warzone including the new Verdansk map and Rebirth modes as fixtures, Season 5 can bring plenty to the table to build on this.

Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Season 5.

Warzone Season 5 Release Date

Based on the current timer for Season 4, it would appear that Warzone Season 5 is set to begin on or around 9 August. This means that at the time of writing, we’re around two and a half weeks out from release.

It remains to be seen if any more XP events will take place towards the end of Season 4 to help tidy up battle passes. Usually, we get either a double XP weekend or the last few days of the season are double XP to encourage players to reap content from the battle pass before it disappears forever.

Warzone Season 5 In-Game Event

One very interesting factor that could play into Warzone Season 5, is that we are expecting the reveal of this years Call of Duty title very soon. In fact, we’re expecting the reveal towards the end of August.

It’s been widely reported that the reveal for the new Call of Duty, believed to be called Vanguard, is expected to tie into a Warzone in-game event. There’s a good chance that this will take place during Warzone Season 5.

Warzone Season 5 Battle Pass

Just as sure as the sky is blue, we’ll be getting a brand new battle pass with Warzone Season 5. We can expect this battle pass to follow the same format as every other in the history of the game;
