Evolution’s live casino game ‘Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt’ first to use VR

Gonzo finds a new home in the first live casino game show available in virtual reality (VR) mode offered by Evolution Gaming.

Following the acquisition of NetEnt toward the end of last year, Evolution announced recently the launch of Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt. 

Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt is the newest online live game show launched by Evolution. But it stands out as it’s the world’s first live casino game that combines live and slots-style gameplay, as well as the first to come with the option to play in VR mode.

Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt is an exciting quest for hidden treasures in the ancient Incan world. Players are joined by Gonzo himself and the game host as they search for exquisite stones from a giant wall filled with 70 stones. 

With the addition of the Prize Drop feature, the live innovative game show lets you unearth prizes, along with the chance to get winnings of up to 20,000 per stone.

When you embark on this journey, whether with or without a VR headset and controller, you need to place bets on any of the six different colored stones. Each stone comes with their own payout value, namely 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, or 65x. The stone with the 65x value is the rarest stone to find on the wall.

You can then buy up to 20 Picks every round. Once the stones on the giant wall are shuffled and concealed, use these Picks to choose blocks, and hope that you select the ones with the right stones.

To make the experience more exciting, the Prize Drop feature kicks in. This is the very feature that makes Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt more thrilling and rewarding. In fact, an individual stone can grant you up to 20,000x value.

And if you get so lucky to have chosen the stone you placed a bet on, expect to win prizes including the bonus value from the Prize Drop feature.
