EXCLUSIVE: BDSwiss to Welcome AGP Law Firm’s Achilleas Achilleos as CMO

Achilleas Achilleos, the Marketing Manager of Cyprus-based AGP Law Firm, will join forex and contract for difference (CFD) broker, BDSwiss, as its Chief Marketing Officer in early September, Finance Magnates has learnt.

Since naming Nicolas Shamtanis as its new Chief Executive Officer in March, BDSwiss has made a number of key appointments to fill strategic positions in the organization.

The most recent is the hiring of Martha Leventi, the former Account Manager at the professional services firm, AFX Group, as a Business Development Manager.

Achilleas’ job description as Marketing Manager at AGP Law Firm, among others, includes gathering customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions and generate more qualified leads.

Achilleas has spent one year and eight months in the role so far, having joined the law firm in January last year.

Achilleas’ Career Experience

Achilleas has over 20 years of career experience in marketing, creative, communications and digital roles. His experience cuts across various sub-fields of advertising.

The executive’s bag of skills includes brand development, user interface and user experience design for websites, marketing strategy and interfacing with public relations agencies.

Before joining the AGP Law Firm, Achilleas worked as the Creative Director and Head of Marketing at Cyprus-based Impact Tech Limited for four years.

He was also the Head of Marketing at Liteshell, a technology company focused on harnessing data from emerging markets.

Between April 2015 and July 2016, he was the Art Director at Allocated Bullion Exchange, an electronic exchange for the allocated physical precious metals industry.

Before that, he worked as the Art Director at ForexTime’s office in Cyprus for seven months. He left in May 2015.

Earlier, for almost two years, he was the Marketing Manager at CommexFX, another regulated forex broker.

Achilleos holds a degree in Multimedia and 3D Animation from the New York Institute of Technology.
