Know Your Resources And Where You Can Get Them
There are all kinds of different resources in Far Cry 6. They all come in handy one way or another and you need to know where you can get said resources. Gunpowder and Supremo-Bond, the resources needed to upgrade your weapons at the workbench can be found in FND caches in enemy bases and checkpoints. You can also get that from supply drops which will be marked by orange smoke.
Depleted Uranium can be found near anti-aircraft guns that you need to take down in order to be able to fly planes and helicopters freely. You will need Depleted Uranium in order to buy different Supremos and special weapons.
Do Not Neglect Your Companions
Your companion pets have great abilities that you can use. Guapo can take down enemies and deal significant damage. You can take out enemies that are distracted by Guapo without being spotted. Guapo can also revive himself, which will come in handy when you are in the heat of battle. Different companions have different abilities so be sure to check them out and make the most of them.
Liberate Enemy Checkposts And Camps
You need to take over enemy camps and checkpoints during the storyline but you do not have to liberate all of them in order to complete the game. We do recommend that you liberate as many as you can. The camps that you liberate are going to become fast travel points. This will allow you to move around the map much faster. You can talk to the people that you rescue and they will give you locations for supply drops and side missions.
You Can Do Everything From The Start
Far Cry 6 no longer has a skill tree, so you can do things like air assassinate enemies from the very start of the game. The game is not going to tell you this but you can. Take advantage of air takedowns and chain takedowns in order to take out enemies quickly without being spotted.
Armor-Piercing Rounds For The Win
Your default ammo does not deal a lot of damage even if you aim for the head. Armor-piercing rounds are going to change things and ensure that you can one-shot enemies with headshots. We do recommend keeping weapons with different ammo types so that you have something for different enemies that you will encounter.
Suppressors Do Overheat
Suppressors do silence your weapons but you cannot shoot numerous bullets in a short duration of time as the suppressor is going to overheat and the suppressor is no longer going to silence your shots. When that happens all the enemies in the area are going to know what is going down.
Blow Up The Anti-Aircraft Guns ASAP
There are anti-aircraft guns around the region that keep you from flying. These also keep you from dropping at different checkpoints. If you take out these guns, you will be able to airdrop at different fast travel points and then use your jumpsuit to move to areas of interest quickly.
