Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is an upcoming battle royale experience set in the world of Final Fantasy VII. The plot is as simple as it can get; fight to be the last SOLDIER standing. Square Enix showed off a brand new trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2021, which you can watch below.
About the Upcoming Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier
Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is as clear-cut as it gets. You drop down into the space, then fight everyone off to be the last one standing. However, this game has its own unique “spin” on things with its access to magic and summons from the Final Fantasy series, such as Ifrit and Shiva.
Players also will have to fight against AI=controlled monsters in the overworld, to level up their character. Leveling your character up grants you new access to weapons and cosmetics, in typical battle royale fashion. Other cosmetic items such as skins, emotes, and other odds and ends allow you to create your SOLDIER in your own vision.
