Ahead of the next major Battle Royale update, we have all the Fortnite Chapter 5 release dates and times for every region.

After a month of Fortnite OG, the throwback season is unfortunately coming to an end. The Big Bang live event, featuring an Eminem concert, will close out Chapter 4 and set up Fortnite Chapter 5. Although the lore surrounding the new Chapter is still relatively unknown, leaks confirmed upcoming collaborations with LEGO and Rocket League, as well as a Rock Band-inspired Rhythm mode.

With so much new content on the way, fans will want to know exactly when the next Fortnite Chapter is set to go live in every time zone.

Here’s all the expected Fortnite Chapter 5 release dates and times for every region across the globe:

it is important to note that Epic Games has not confirmed the exact release time for Fortnite Chapter 5, just the date. Based off previous Chapter launches, we predict the major update will go live after at least five hours of downtime, around 6 a.m. ET.

Of course, there could always be maintenance delays or server issues that push the release times closer to 9 a.m. ET, similar to the Fortnite OG launch. Stay tuned for more updates as Fortnite Chapter 5 draws closer.

The Fortnite Chapter 5 downtime starts on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at 11:30 p.m. ET. The servers will still be live for hours after The Big Bang Chapter 4 finale event concludes. Although matchmaking will be disabled, players will be able to play Fortnite Creative until the downtime starts.
