The Fortnite x LEGO collaboration release date has finally been confirmed after months of speculation.

Despite reports of a possible in-game crossover between Epic Games’ Battle Royale and LEGO back in February 2023, the collaboration never came to fruition. Some rumors even claimed Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 would be a full LEGO season, but Fortnite OG quickly debunked that claim. Now, with Chapter 5 just a few weeks away, it looks like the long-awaited event is finally dropping in the next major Fortnite update.

Here’s when you can expect the Fortnite x LEGO in-game collaboration.

The Fortnite x LEGO collaboration release date is finally confirmed for Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at 9 a.m. ET. Epic Games has not revealed details about the upcoming crossover, but leaks suggest the collaboration will be its own separate game mode.

“There will be THREE new modes a few days after Chapter 5 drops,” reliable Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, posted. Then, they released the following schedule:

The three modes reportedly joining Chapter 5 offer unique crossovers we have never seen before in Fortnite. In fact, the LEGO collaboration was rumored to be “so big that it could be considered the size of a new season.”

Along with exclusive rewards, the mode will likely include its own mini-games, skins, and more.

Yes, there are Fortnite LEGO sets coming in the future. Another leak from ShiinaBR showcased a LEGO Llama Polybag.

According to the teaser photo, the Llama Polybag features an animated portrayal of everyone’s favorite Fortnite creature. Although Llamas have gone through some changes in-game throughout the years, the LEGO set embodies the iconic look of Fortnite Llamas now back in Fortnite OG.

The Fortnite LEGO sets do not have an official release date just yet, but the leak claims they are coming in early 2024. The date would line up with the in-game collaboration.
