Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges Guide Series 31 – Spring | TheXboxHub

The final week has dawned in the current series of Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges in Forza Horizon 5, and with it, Spring has arrived. Of course, because I had planned to go fishing this weekend, the nice Spring-like weather is due to vanish here in the UK, but hopefully Mexico will be a little warmer.

So, let’s dive into European Automotive Season for one final time, as I try and tell you which cars and tunes I’d use to get the challenges ticked off. Are you ready? Then start your engines!

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Trevor

This week’s challenge car is a TVR Sagaris from 2005 – a car as bonkers as the rest of the TVR stable.

The styling of these is absolutely beautiful, and when I used to do 1/10th scale RC drifting, this was one of my favourite body shells.

Should you not have one in your garage, then it is available in the Autoshow. It’s a mere 86,000 credits to boot!

Chapter 1 – Fuelling the Passion

Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete.

Chapter 2 – Inline Six

Now we need to earn 3 stars at speed traps, as this car should have a top speed of 196 mph. Why not gear it a little longer and make it 200 mph?

Chapter 3 – Double Up

As the car cost just under £50,000 when it was launched, we need to tune it now to S1 Class and spend about the same again. Use share Sagaris with Gt Red620Ti to find mine.

Chapter 4 – Monster in the Dark

Now we have to win an S1 Class Street Race. Pick your best and get going!

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 31.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

So, with the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.

The Trial, two Eventlabs, PR Stunts and a couple of Seasonal Championships this week.

The Trial – Porsch Spice

Good grief.

This week we need an A Class 800 European Super Saloon, and there is a fair bit of choice.

I went for an Audi RS6 Avant, famously not a saloon, with a share code of 736888629.

The prize for managing to find people who actually want to race and don’t think they are playing dodgems (naming no names here) is a Porsche Cayenne.

Eventlab 1 – THEFILTHYHONEY Presents – Kerb your Braking!

European Hypercars tuned to S1 Class 900 for this one, so it should be pretty rapid. I went for a Lambo Aventador LP700-4, and the share code is : 362867196.

A reasonable course, except for the stupid kerbs that will flip your car if you touch them. Not a fan, sadly.

The prize for completing this race is a Land Rover Defender from 2020.

Eventlab 2 – ANDYPSBACK Presents – Horizon Festival Loop

This week we need an S2 Class Extreme Track toy from Europe to compete. I went with a Bugatti Divo, and the share code is : 169915677.

A very long track that seems to take in the whole of Mexico. My one word of caution is watch the banked turns. It is very easy to fly!

Take away a BMW M3 for completing it.

PR Stunt 1 –  Danger Sign – La Mesa

The PR Stunts this week all share a common theme – Mini cars, tuned to B Class 700.

I decided to use a Mini X Raid All4 Racing, and this time we need to jump over 140 metres to win. The share code for mine is : 183453347.

Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return.

PR Stunt 2 – Danger Sign – La Cruz

Same challenge, same car class required. I used the same car as above, saving the pennies! We need to exceed 170 metres. Do so and another Super Wheelspin awaits.

Seasonal Championship 1 – Exclusive Event- V Double You

Believe it or not, we need to use a VW car for this championship, tuned to B Class 700. I went with a Golf R from 2021, and the share code is : 906454196.

For winning out, we can take home a VW Double Cab Pickup, an exclusive car we need for the photo challenge this week. That’s lucky.

Seasonal Championship 2 – Up and Over

This promises to be a fast one!

In Up and Over we need an S2 Class Extreme Track Toy from Europe to compete. I went with a Bugatti Divo, and the share code is : 169915677.

The prize for winning is a VW Scirocco, which makes it all worthwhile.

Part 3: Other Challenges

There’s always more to get involved in than just the racing, and that is the case again this week with Series 31 – Spring. Horizon Tour, Photos, Treasure Hunts – this week has it all! Even a bit of Eliminator to get involved in.

Photo Challenge – #DOUBLETROUBLE

We have to photograph a VW Double Cab Pickup this week, anywhere we fancy. Not sure where would suit it, to be honest. Maybe parked on a beach full of surf boards?

But enjoy my artistic effort anyways.

The reward? A new emote, Relax. Good advice!

Treasure Hunt – It Sounds Like a Golf

The clue this week reads “Wrecking havoc on a golf course for ultimate fun, reveals a treasure when you are done”.

The photo shows a Golf messing about off road, and I guess we need to get some wreckage skills maybe? Well, the golf course is at Club de Opalo de Fuego on the west coast, and we need to earn an Ultimate Wreckage Skill to find the chest. Drive into all the things!

The chest contains 100,000 credits. See below for its location.

Horizon Tour – Co-Op championships

Complete a Tour to win out this week.

A Tour consists of three races against driverbots, and two point to point races against real people. I can’t recommend a tune as it could be any class, but enjoy.

Take away a massive eight points for doing this. Eight!

The Eliminator – Battle Royale

As is usual with these events, simply hide in a bush until there are fewer than 30 competitors remaining. After that, go for the win or get knocked out, your call! I like to get knocked out.

The prize for completing this is a Forzalink phrase “I’ve got a bad feeling about this”. Sums up my thoughts about The Eliminator.

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Danger Sign – Canyon Fire

Get in an S1 Class 900 Aston Martin and try to jump over 350 metres. I went with  a Vantage from 2019, and the share code is : 464639407.

Hit the ramp at over 175 mph to clear this easily.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – The Grass is Greener

An A Class 800 BMW is needed here, but not just any Beemer – it has to be AWD. I chose a Z4 Roadster, and the share code is : 149191495.

Completing the championship will get us a BMW Z4, ironically enough!

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – La Cantera

Get ready to go in a Retro Rally Car, from Europe, tuned to B Class 700. I chose a stock Lancia Delta S4.

We need to hit the trap at over 95 mph to triumph.

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship – Free Range

For this event, it is a European Super GT we need, tuned to S1 Class 900. Bit odd as this is an off road series, no?

Still, I chose a Ferrari 812 Superfast, as usual, and the share code is : 261040765.

For winning, it is a Range Rover from 1973 that we can take away.

With Series 31 at the end, those season reward cars are up for grabs. And they are the Ferrari 575M for 80 points and an Audi RS6 ’21 for 160. You should be ticking the second car off this week, if you haven’t already!

Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 31 too, and there are two for proper cars and two for EVs. For proper cars, we can have a crack at the Plaza Circuit and Reservorio Sprint, while the EV lovers amongst us will enjoy Tunnel Run (I still hate this track) and the Lookout circuit.

Put in a clean lap on each event to earn 4 points in total, not per race as it appears. Have you done this yet?

Grab enough points and Series 31 Spring also sees you given access to the exclusive Mercedes 500E for 20 points. I don’t know about you, but I’ve felt there is a massive limo shaped hole in my garage…

Additionally, for 40 points we can get an Ascari KZ1R, a hard to find car apparently.

Next week is a new Series, and the theme is apparently going to be “Horizon Race Off”. I wonder what could be in store? More Midnight Battles maybe, or some drag racing? We’ll find out in a week, I guess!

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
