Honkai: Star Rail will have probably made a bajillion dollars by this time tomorrow – and it’s not even coming out on PS5 and PS4 just yet. The game – which is launching on PC and smartphones on 26th April – is gearing up to be the next big thing in gacha gaming since Genshin Impact, and developer miHoYo (which makes both) is licking its lips.
Whether you’re planning to get started on another platform or waiting for the PlayStation versions, this launch trailer should whet your appetite. It’s your typical anime affair, with sickly sweet pop music and some slick transitions. The game’s already attracted 10 million pre-registrations, so expect some wild engagement statistics to emerge over the coming days.
