Horizon Zero Dawn: Cauldron Locations and Guides

Clearing a Cauldron grants you myriad rewards, including the ability to override new machines!

Below you will find a chart with Cauldron locations and a list of override unlocks, plus what you should expect.

Horizon Zero Dawn Cauldron Locations

Below are images and specific instructions on how to get to each Cauldron in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Cauldron SIGMA

Cauldron SIGMA is the first Cauldron Aloy will find. It’s north of Mother’s Crown.

To get inside, just override the front door. 

Cauldron RHO

Cauldron RHO can be found south of Daytower on the Carja side of the gate. 

Getting into Cauldron RHO is pretty straight forward. Instead of walking through the front door, drop down to the cavern below. 

Cauldron XI

Cauldron XI can be found directly south of Meridian in the jungle.

To get inside, you’ll need to swipe an Excavation Key off of one of the cultists patrolling the entrance. Use the key to get into the front door below a triangular shaped opening  up the scaffolding.

Cauldron ZETA

Cauldron ZETA, the last Cauldron, can be found direcly north of Meridian, at nearly the farthest point on the map.

You’ll need to use the secret entrance to get inside. Climb the stone pillar in front of the giant triangular locked door to find it.
