When is the Cherry Blossom Festival event in Coral Island?

The Cherry Blossom Festival event in Coral Island takes place on Spring 10, which is the 10th day of the Spring season. The event runs from 9 AM to 2 PM, as notified in the letter you’ll receive on Spring 9. Once you’ve taken care of everything at your farm, head over to the Alun-Alun Square, which is by the Lake. This is when you’ll see a prompt to begin the festivities, but before you do so, here are some things to keep in mind.

Bring a food item to add to the hotpot.
Come with a lot of Coral coins, as you can purchase items from the Cherry Blossom Shop.
Make sure to get done everything you need to for that day, as this event takes up the rest of your day.

How to play Balap Karung minigame in Coral Island

There are three central areas of interest at the Cherry Blossom Festival, and one of them is participating in the Balap Karung minigame, where you race while hopping in a burlap sack. You can replay this race as often as you want to win the top prizes:

1st place: x1000 Coral coins, x100 Merit points, and x5 Candied tree seeds
2nd place: x500 Coral coins and x5 Candied tree seeds
3rd place: x250 Coral coins and x5 Candied tree seeds
4th place: x50 Coral coins and x3 Candied tree seeds
5th place: x1 Candied tree seed

Once the tournament begins (unless you decide to practice first), the countdown begins, and your job is simple. A bar pops up with a line sliding left to right at different speeds. You want to tap the Space Bar to jump when the line is in the middle green area, but be careful, because the bar’s movement will start to speed up.

Messing this up can lead you to falling over. You can also fall over when you run out of stamina. If you take a breather, your stamina bar will refresh, but your opponents may start to catch up. You also don’t want to run out of stamina or hit the jump button at the wrong time.

This minigame takes concentration and patience. You may want to hit it a few time in a row, then take a second for your stamina to refresh. Your opponents are pretty desperate for a win though, so don’t stall for too long. You’ll have to go through more rounds to be crowned the final winner to actually earn first place, so good luck!
