Fortnite update v28.10 is finally here, and fans can now get the EMP Stealth Camo in Fortnite.

Metal Gear has invaded Epic Games’ Battle Royale in the latest update. Solid Snake, the “secret” Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass skin, can be unlocked by completing special Solid Snake Battle Pass Quests. The former spy also spawns as an NPC that offers players new in-game items inspired by his past, including the EMP Stealth Camo. To complete the new quests and add the Solid Snake skin to their Locker, fans must find and use the new device.

The EMP Stealth Camo in Fortnite is a combination of the Cloak Gauntlets and Shield Breaker EMPs. The new item turns players invisible, making endgame rotations and sneaky pushes much easier. You cannot use a weapon while you use the EMP Stealth Camo, though, so be ready to quickly switch to your gun once you are ready to fight.

Disabling the device results in a classic EMP effect, stopping any close by vehicles and breaking the shields of your enemies.

To get the EMP Stealth Camo in Fortnite, fans must find the new item from ground loot, Chests, or purchase it from Solid Snake. Epic Games typically gives new items a high spawn rate, so you should have no trouble coming across the device in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

As you look for the EMP Stealth Camo, you might also come across the recently added Cardboard Boxes, found from the ground, Chests, or once again, Solid Snake. The boxes give players a place to hide in case they want to remain unseen for a period of time.

Fans can find the Solid Snake NPC in Fortnite just north of Lavish Lair. The small island at the top of the map contains the NPC and is where you can purchase either an EMP Stealth Camo or Cardboard Box for the right amount of Bars.

The island is west of where Winterburg, the limited-time Winterfest 2023 island, spawned. We recommend landing there off spawn to get to Solid Snake as quickly as possible.
