This is the middle button on your mouse if you’re playing Dying Light on PC or your left trigger on a console. This will throw the item you have selected. This method will work for whatever equipment you have selected at the time.

What are Firecrackers for?

Firecrackers, as mentioned, are a classic for any zombie game. They serve a few purposes when it comes to the mindless hordes. The first use for Firecrackers in Dying Light, is what you would expect. They can be used as a tactic to distract zombies away from you. Make sure to throw them at a distance and far away from where you’re planning on going.

You can also use the Firecrackers in Dying Light to ignite oil spills and blow up bombers. This is a great use for the Firecrackers to get rid of these rather annoying enemies at a distance or create a wall of fire between you and zombies.
