Kia UK wins Feefo’s Platinum Award for customer service

Kia UK has won a Platinum Trusted Service Award from Feefo in recognition of online reviews recognising the Korean car brand’s customer service excellence.

News of the award comes just days after AM reported on Kia’s efforts to leverage online reviews to highlight its customer service successes in a drive that has resulted in soaring engagement with its car retailers.

It also marks a hattrick of consecutive awards from Feefo, following Gold awards in 2022 and 2021.

David Hart, customer experience manager at Kia UK, said: “It is extremely satisfying to receive this award, which is importantly based on real customer views.

“Kia is now a mainstream brand in the UK, selling its largest volume in a year ever in 2022, so it’s great to see that our customers love our products and are continuing to receive a fantastic experience despite the larger volumes we’re now delivering.”

Kia succeeded in delivering a record 100,000 new car registrations target – first revealed to AM at the launch of the new Kia Sportage in February last year – during 2022.

The brand is the current AM Awards Manufacturer of the Year.

Feefo said that its Platinum award was only given to companies that “deliver time and time again for their customers” and place them at the heart of all they do.

It added that Kia’s success had been achieved in a climate of growing consumer complaints.

Research from the Institute of Customer Service recently revealed that complaints rose to 17.3% in the second half of 2022.

Feefo chief executive Tony Wheble said: “This year has been a difficult one for so many businesses. I’m delighted to recognise thousands of our clients that have overcome various challenges to provide such high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
