It is that time once again. The LCS season is upon us and with it come the games that will decide who will make it to the LCS Finals, MSI and Worlds. The regular season may not mean much to some, but during each crucial game, we will get to see story arcs created with excitement and disappointment. Along with the stories that will prepare us for the future of the LCS. Without further adieu, here are the LCS Picks for Playoffs Week 1 of the 2024 Spring Split.

LCS Picks Playoffs Round 1 Spring 2024

100T vs. C9

This first series of the week is going to be a banger without a doubt. Ultimately it will come down to experience more than anything. Maybe not in-game or in the draft. Instead based on the stamina it takes to play in these high-pressure games. Cloud 9 players have done it at every level including on the world stage. Only River has anywhere close to that experience and sadly it will not be enough. This will be a very close and enjoyable series though.

Prediction: C9 Win 3-2

FLY vs. TL

Do FlyQuest get cocky and let Smolder through one game? If they do then that is how they lose. They were not aggressive enough in their matchup last week and surely they have learned their lesson this time. TL will play for the late game but will only get there once. Otherwise FlyQuest take care of business.

Prediction: FLY Win 3-1

LCS Picks Playoffs Round 2 Spring 2024

NRG vs. 100T

With how the games above play out, this is where 100 Thieves lands, in the waiting arms of NRG. The problem is that 100 Thieves lack experience. Luckily, their advantage is in the solo lanes with Sniper and Quid. If they play through them as they have all season it will be enough to get 100 Thieves through to the next round against whoever wins the Dignitas and TL game.

Prediction: 100T Win 3-2

DIG vs. TL

The Smolder battle. Will either team get their best champion? Seems doubtful. While Team Liquid have been very inconsistent, Dignitas have been consistently average or just below it. That will play into their favor here. Even with all the experience of Impact, UmTi and CoreJJ, it will not be enough. They will push each other to the brink but ultimately Dignitas do the opposite of their past, overcoming their demons, and win a Baron fight to survive and advance.

Prediction: DIG Win 3-2
