The total number of FWA connections are expected to triple, to 300M by 2028.

In the first of these specially commissioned reports, Robin Duke-Woolley, CEO of Beecham Research, looks specifically at the challenges raised for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to keep apace:

  • The ability to clarify customer segmentation, for refining network strategy
  • Ensuring FWA hardware can cater to the distinct requirements of both enterprise and consumer customers
  • Providing broader coverage and enhanced performance by increasing use of the C-Band

Robin also interviews Simon Tao, the VP of MBB BU with IoT connectivity specialists, Fibocom, who outlines what they see as the most important performance issue that must be met to support FWA for high-speed 5G.

Fibocom will be presenting their 5G FWA module at Broadband World Forum 2023, Porte de Versailles, Paris, at Booth G8.
