LinksDAO NFT Price Soars After Steph Curry Purchase: Report

LinksDAO NFT prices surged as the new DAO raised $10 million in Ethereum to start off the new year as we can see more today in our latest crypto news.

LinksDAO is a new DAO that is looking to finance the creation of the physical golf course and club by selling the NFTs, blockchain-based deeds connected to digital or real assets. The NFTs represent the right to purchase actual membership to the future country club. The floor price of the LinksDAO NFT collection surged today after Golden State Warriors Steph Curry bought “leisure membership” and LinksDAO Global Membership NFTs for about $892 and $3442. The purchase helped push the price for the former to 0.72 ETH. The Global membership NFT recently sold for 2 ETH or $3111.

LinksDAO was quick to announce the purchase and tweeted, “Welcome to LinksDAO, @StephenCurry30 See you on the 1st tee!” Curry is an avid golf player and serves as the producer of the ABC miniature golf competition show “Holey Moley.” he also became an avid NFT collector and purchased Rumble Kong League and Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTS.

LinksDAO released the first NFT collection on OpenSea and the collection took in about 2092 ETH worth $10.5 million. The recent market dump put the amount much closer to $6.4 million.

A s recently reported, Steph Curry is a two-time NBA MVP and now he is lending his power to FTX. NBA superstar Steph Curry was asking for advice about how to get started in crypto but it seems that now he will be getting in with teh most popular exchange on the market. The Golden State Warriors player signed a deal to become a global ambassador for FTX Trading Limited that runs the FTX crypto exchange and as a part of the team, he will receive a stake in the company while FTX will make annual contributions to the Eat.Learn.Play foundation that is run by the Curry family.

He continued to say that he will help expand the reach of the BTC brand and tout the viability of crypto to new audiences across the world. Curry is not a complete newbie to crypto as he spent 55 ETH last month on Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT but afterward the fans inundated his wallet with other NFTS.
