REVEIL brings madness to Xbox, PlayStation, PC

A narrative driven psycho-thriller, you can be sure that if you deep your toe into REVEIL on Xbox, PlayStation or PC, you’ll be overcome by the madness. But hey, that’s the temptation, no?

From the Pixelsplit and Daedalic Entertainment teams, REVEIL opens up the big top to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. And yes, this is a current-gen only affair, and as such you won’t be able to play on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

A mad world

It’s priced at £13.74 from the Xbox Store, as REVEIL takes you deep into the mind of one person – Walter Thompson. You fast discover that your wife has gone, your daughter missing, as the world around you turns into a crazy, wild one. It’ll be up to you to try and find an end to the madness within.

REVEIL focuses on a past life, one that is centred around the Nelson Bros Circus. It’s here where you were plying your trade as a stage builder, but now that circus is a nightmare; a wicked world in which things are uncontrollable and in chaos.

What this means is that REVEIL will take you through the madness. Mind-bending environments will be at hand, as will creative puzzles, spine-chilling encounters and more. Where does reality and chaos cross? You can be sure that line will get forever thinner.

REVEIL Xbox Description

You wake up. You’re disoriented. Your head hurts. Things seem surreal, yet familiar.

Your wife Martha and your daughter Dorie are not there. Why? Looking for answers, you explore your environment and fragments of memories. On your journey you are repeatedly confronted with riddling tasks, driven by the desire to find out what’s going on. What happened last night? Why can’t you think of any other thing aside from your days as a stage builder at the circus?

As things get crazier and more bizarre, the lines between reality, memory, and imagination become more and more blurred and you realize: there is no going back. You have to do whatever it takes to bring this story to an end, no matter at what cost…

The feeling of safety is an elusive one. It’s not over yet.
