Mark Cuban to Unleash A Game-Changing Catalyst, Ethereum May Flip Bitcoin

Mark Cuban, a significant name in the crypto industry is going to unleash a game-changing catalyst that could boost Ethereum and position it above Bitcoin. The owner of Dallas Mavericks shared a tweet that revealed to his 8.4 million followers that Ethereum possesses the potential to take over the crypto industry in terms of business.

Mark Cuban and Peter Schiff Positive for Ethereum Flipping Bitcoin

As the dominance of Bitcoin is declining in the crypto industry, Peter Schiff has joined the flipping crowd and has predicted that the market capitalization of Ethereum may overcome that of Bitcoin.

Mark Cuban released a statement that said:

“The reason ETH has a chance to blow up even bigger is that we have yet to really see business applications built on ETH smart contracts start to happen. When they do, every company will be ETH literate which will change the game. But layer 2s will have an important role to play too.”

While we all are aware that there is no shortage of platforms that are in competition to become the top smart contract protocol, the highly anticipated update of Ethereum will be playing a major role in the maintenance of its dominance in the crypto space.

Adding further to his statement, he said:

“It’s hard to keep up with all the different options and there really aren’t many hedging mechanisms for others. Of course, the path of [ETH] 2.0 will be important.”

ETH Flipping BTC is Preferred Over BTC Flipping Gold

Peter Schiff believes that rather than Bitcoin flipping gold, there are chances that the top cryptocurrency may be flipped by Ethereum. 

Since the beginning of this year, the ETH/BTC pair has rallied approximately 191%, meanwhile, the market share of Bitcoin has reduced below 44% for the very first time since July 2018.

In addition to this, it should be considered that the price of Ethereum is still 53% down from its ATH measured in Bitcoin that was recorded back in the month of June 2017.
