Mecha Trojan Cheatsheet

Source Node: 769604

Lords Mobile has a good number of monsters to kill when you’ve leveled up your heroes a bit and decided that it’s high time to get more loot. Mecha Trojans are one of the worst, being more difficult to get rid of than normal, and if you’re a novice, you can expect to chip away at them slowly. Not because you’re weak, but because you didn’t check this guide first and learn how to do it properly.

However, if you did manage to rub your brain cells together and come upon this article, you’re in luck because I’m about to tell you everything you need to know about Mecha Trojans.

Basic Information on Mecha Trojan

Mecha Trojan Fighting Battle Against Heroes

The first thing to learn is the basics. Mecha Trojans are just like any monster in that you have two hours and 55 minutes to kill them once spawned and they drop loot when killed. They have a nasty combination of attack and defense that can pose a threat if your hero lineup isn’t up to snuff.

Mecha Trojans have high Physical Defense (PDEF), which means that our ideal hero lineup will have no physical skills (there can always be exceptions, of course). If you haven’t been following up until now, that means you should use magic heroes.

Additionally, Mecha Trojans can have an annoying attack pattern. The attack stuns the target, meaning your hero won’t be able to act for a bit. You’ll need a healer to keep your group healthy and avoid unnecessary casualties. Tanky heroes will be the prime target for Mecha Trojan attacks, although sometimes you don’t have much say in that.

Hero Lineups and Advice

As usual, my infinite wisdom and experience in Lords Mobile have allowed me to produce a few hero lineups that you can use to beat Mecha Trojans effectively. As always, there is room for changes, but any change will be for the worse.

F2P (Free-to-Play) Lineup

Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup

The F2P lineup will differ depending on your current hero levels. For earlier levels, I’d recommend going for whatever heroes you’ve already maxed out. They are more likely to survive and do damage than a recommended hero that’s low in level and gear.

For level 1-3 Mecha Trojans, I’d recommend the following lineup. It might work for higher levels, but not as effectively.

Level 1-3 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Sage of Storms, Incinerator, Elementalist, Snow Queen, Bombin’ Goblin

When you start getting higher level mechanical horses in your yard, it’s time to change the strategy a bit. A Snow Queen works well for the starting levels but will go obsolete quickly, and the stunning attack isn’t going to work in your favor. Here is the new lineup:

Level 4 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Sage of Storms, Incinerator, Elementalist, Child of Light, Bombin’ Goblin

For the most difficult monsters of the bunch, you’ll need to get the Goblin to make way for your savior, a Prima Donna:

Level 5 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Sage of Storms, Incinerator, Elementalist, Child of Light, Prima Donna

As you can see, there’s a bit of fluidity with heroes if you’re a free player. You can try to swap one of these out for basically any magic hero or healer, but your output might suffer. The thing is, as long as you’re getting decent results, it’s not an issue.

P2P (Pay-to-Play) Lineup

If you prefer to fight with cash, there are lucrative options to open up Mecha Trojans easily:

Mecha Trojan P2P Hero Lineup: Storm Fox, Incinerator, Elementalist, Dream Witch, Petite Devil

You can always take a step back and purchase fewer than the three paid heroes to whip a Trojan – if you’re a cheap wuss, that is.

Mecha Trojan Rewards

Mecha Trojan Rewards

As always, the best part of beating monsters in Lords Mobile is the precious loot you get. For the list-lovers, here’s one for you:

  • Hero Chest (Common to Legendary depending on monster level)
  • Speed-Up (1h-24h)
  • Shields (8/8/24/24/72h depending on level)
  • Gems (200 per monster’s level)
  • Gold (15/50/50/200/600K gold, based on level)
  • Trojan Jewel (Jewel)
  • Ancient Blueprints (Rare Material)
  • Oily Spring
  • Refined Gunpowder
  • Rusty Horseshoe

The final four pieces are used to craft Mecha Trojan gear, which I’ll detail below.

The exciting part about Mecha Trojan Rewards is the Jewel. You can use it to enhance equipment and give it more bonuses than just the basic ones. You need four of the same Jewel to upgrade it to the next tier (going from Common to Legendary). The Trojan Jewel gives a 15% bonus to Infantry Max HP and 5% to Travel Speed (at Legendary quality), making it a solid investment if you have a lot of them.

Mecha Trojan Gear

Mecha Trojan Gear

Like with all other monsters, Mecha Trojan gear has some awesome uses, depending on what stats you’re after. While only one of these is a complete homerun, I’ll mention all of them:

  • Secret Totem: An accessory that mainly boosts Siege and HP. With a 21% bonus (Mythic) on Infantry Max HP and Siege ATK, putting three of them together can be a lucrative choice when you’ve got nothing else going on. It also gives a smaller (9.8% at Mythic) boost to Infantry ATK and Army DEF. Overall, it can be decent but you usually want offensive stats instead.
  • Corrupted Boots: This legwear is not really great. It really likes Siege Engines, giving 21% to their ATK and Max HP (at Mythic), and also 14% to Infantry ATK and DEF. Overall, Siege Engines is yuck, which is why I’m not recommending these boots.
  • Malicious Saw: This main-hand weapon is one of the better choices for Infantry ATK, with a 35% boost and the same bonus to Siege Engine ATK and DEF. You also get a neat 21% boost to Infantry DEF (all on Mythic). It costs quite a bit to craft, with two Blueprints, two Gunpowders, six Springs, and two Embers needed to get to Mythic, but it is one of the cheaper options out there. However, you can find superior weapons for Infantry builds.
  • Viral Switchblade: The off-hand is similar, giving 21% to Infantry ATK and DEF, 35% to Siege ATK, and 28% to Siege DEF. I’m not sure anyone wants to focus so much on siege weapons in this game, but you do you.
  • Firewall Plate: INCRECDIBLE! One of the worthwhile armors from this monster. It gives a solid 21% to Infantry ATK and an amazing 42% to Cavalry ATK, as well as 21% to Army Max HP. Oh, and it boosts Siege ATK, big deal right. Overall, this is one of my recommended picks for Cavalry players. It’s not cheap to craft, though, needing eight Blueprints, 17 Gunpowders, 15 Springs, and seven Embers to get to Mythic (where the big bonuses lay).

Generally, Mecha Trojans improve Siege and Infantry the most, but the armor and the main-hand are useful for Cavalry and Infantry players.

Mecha Trojan Chests

Mecha Trojan Paid Pack

Getting enough loot from Mecha Trojans to craft armor can be unpredictable, which is why you can always purchase a chest to jumpstart the collection. The best option, of course, is the $20 Material Madness pack.

Mecha Trojan Familiar

If you want a familiar that has a decent skill, Mecha Trojan might be a decent one for you. I talk more about the subject in my best familiars article, but the Trojan’s ability to boost your coalition army size can be a boon.

Final Thoughts

This metallic horse can be a worthy opponent, but only to those who don’t know what they’re doing. Follow my advice and you’ll beat it easily. Just don’t let it Mark your squishiest hero for death.

Now get out, read another article, like my guide for all monsters that comes highly recommended, and play Lords Mobile.
