The chairman and CEO of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor, said Bitcoin is hope for Canada.
Michael Saylor, who has become a bull in the crypto space with his Bitcoin purchases, has retweeted a tweet from Documenting Bitcoin’s official Twitter page.
The tweet notes that Canada alone has enough unused hydroelectric power to operate the whole Bitcoin Network. The firm said that Canada has 400 TWh of hydroelectric capacity. But, Bitcoin runs on only 129 TWh.
In addition, Michael Saylor and his MicroStrategy are known as true supporters of Bitcoin. Self-named crypto-guru Saylor once said that Bitcoin is a once-in-a-lifetime transformation. He also advised everyone to convert their cash into Bitcoin.
Saylor also stated his beliefs and views about Bitcoin. Notably, he said that Bitcoin is now the most powerful tech in this 21st century.
Since the mass exodus of bitcoin miners from China, Canada has been on the radar. Recently, Brian Mosoff, the CEO of Canadian crypto firm Ether Capital and an entrepreneur focused on cryptos, said that bitcoin miners would naturally approach energy sources with affordable rates.
He mentioned Alberta as a great place to go. Also, Mosoff added that Quebec and Ontario are other centers where miners could set up stores.
