Weapons in Monster Hunter Now

At the moment, there are six weapons in the game. From the powerful Great Sword to the quick Long Sword, each has its own way of being used, which you need to learn and master. If you want to move through the game quickly, you should get a strong tool that does great damage all the time.

Sword & Shield

The Sword & Shield is the perfect mix of offense and defense. It lets you strike quickly while still letting you stop attacks by holding down your device for a long time. The Sword and Shield is a great starting tool that hunters have used for years. It also has a Special Skill called “Perfect Rush Combo” that lets you hit monsters hard with a series of powerful attacks.

Great Sword

You want to hit big things with big tools, right? A hammer is a blunt force weapon that will leave an impact on any monster it hits, especially if it hits it in the head. Forget about how precise blades are. “Spinning Bludgeon” is a special skill that lets you swing the hammer around and do damage all the while. It ends with a strong upper attack.

Light Bowgun

Keep your distance from the fight and fire a long-range attack that will make even a Barroth think twice about bothering you. The bullets are different for each bowgun, and choosing bullets that kill certain monsters will make your strikes even stronger. “Wyvernblast Counter” is a special skill that lets you fire a strong bullet that can hurt monsters very badly but also makes a big explosion.
