At Gamescom 2023, we saw a new gameplay trailer for One Punch Man World. Anyone lucky enough to be at Gamescom in person can also check out a demo of the game on the floor.

Even after the trailer, I am not 100% sure what type of game this is. It is meant to be a Multiplayer action game, whatever that means.

The gameplay shown off is some quick time events and a ton of animations. Since it is on mobile, the gameplay is pretty straightforward. You rush the opponent, get your attacks off, and do your special attack. And, of course, we get a special move montage near the end.

Some baddies are shown off in the trailer as well. We get a look at Crablanta, Subterranean King, Vaccine Man, Mosquito Girl, Beast King, and Carnage Kabuto. On top of that, they also revealed the heroes Atomic Samurai and Zombieman very briefly.

Before the trailer ends, they show off some investigation and sneaking sequences, so it isn’t 100% combat-based. Combine that with the mini-games at the arcades in-game, and you’ll have plenty to do.
