OTs 9 Warzone loadout: best attachments, perks, and equipment

Source Node: 980079

The OTs 9 enters a crowded market in Warzone Season 4. There are several SMGs just like it that have become staple picks in players’ loadouts – the MP5, the MAC-10, and the LC10, to name but a few.

So could this high damage but small-magazine SMG find a place in the Warzone meta? It certainly looks that way. The OTs 9 is already shaping up to be a great addition to the Warzone arsenal, and is blowing people away in Verdansk. While the base weapon is pretty nifty, you’re going to want to bolt five attachments onto your OTs 9 to make it the ultimate, close-range death machine.

But which attachments do you pick for the perfect OTs 9 Warzone loadout? And which second weapon, perks, and equipment should you be choosing to completely dominate in Warzone Season 4? We’re on hand to bring you the best classes we can find for the OTs 9.

OTs 9 Warzone loadout (close range)

  • GRU Suppressor
  • 8.1” Task Force
  • Bruiser Grip
  • VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Serpent Wrap

It’s still early doors, but this is the best OTs 9 Warzone build we’ve seen so far. This combination of attachments results in no net decreases across any of its core stats, while buffing damage, range, and recoil control.

With its tiny magazine size, the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag is a must. Unless you’re playing solos, this gun struggles to be viable without 40 bullets in the mag.

As you can also see, this class from ‘BennyCentral’ also features no optic, as the OTs 9 has pretty clean standard iron sights. However, if you do struggle with the iron sights, chuck on a Microflex LED instead of either the Bruiser Grip or Serpent Wrap.

This build offers you lots of movement speed, fast ADS times, and a quick time to kill that could well rival your MAC-10 Warzone loadout.

You’ll want to pair this with a decent long-range AR – check out our Krig 6 Warzone loadout guide for a great build.

OTs 9 Warzone loadout (balanced)

  • GRU Suppressor
  • 8.1” Task Force
  • Microflex LED
  • Spetsnaz Grip
  • VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag

This OTs 9 Warzone class is for people who want to take things a little steadier. Rather than barrelling into buildings and clearing out rooms at close range, this utilises the already low recoil of the OTs 9 to turn it into a close to mid-range beamer, more like a Bullfrog or LC10.

You could run iron sights if you’re brave and maybe add the Serpent Wrap back in, but the Mircoflex LED optic will give you a much better chance at longer distances. The Spetsnaz Grip also brings your recoil down to virtually nothing.

You could run this as a support option in a sniper class (a great sniper build can be found in our Swiss K31 Warzone loadout guide), or it would still make a good partner to an AR. As mentioned above, the Krig is looking like a great pick in Season 4.

OTs 9 Warzone loadout perks and equipment

To complete your OTs 9 class, you’ll need three great perks and two pieces of equipment.

For perks, Overkill and Amped are absolute musts, while either Double Time or E.O.D. are both popular options for your Perk 1 slot.

For tactical equipment, you’ll want to run a Heartbeat Sensor, but you could also opt for Stun Grenades for the close-range class. Semtex or Thermite Grenades are your best picks for the lethal slot.

So there are two great builds for the perfect OTs 9 Warzone class. Give it a try, and see whether it’s good enough to become your new favourite SMG.
