Persona 5 Tactica is patiently moving into position for release on PlayStation platforms, with 17th November being the appointed date the tactical spin-off comes to PS5 and PS4.

A few months back, we were introduced to the leaders of the Phantom Thieves and how they operate in Tactica. Atlus has blessed us with another gameplay spotlight, and this time, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru all get their time to shine.

Ruji takes a straightforward approach to combat and can use a shotgun to enemies clustered together, and his persona, Captain Kidd, specialises in inflicting Shock. Ann uses her submachine gun to spice things up, able to snap off multiple rounds in a turn. Her persona, Carmen, specialises in hitting groups of enemies and inflicting Burn on them. Precise and calculated, egotistical art student Yusuke uses an assault rifle from range, and his persona, Goemon, can inflict Freeze on unsuspecting enemies.

Makoto does her best work up close and personal and can use her persona, Johanna, to deal devastating straight-line attacks and knock enemies out of cover. Futaba doesn’t engage directly but will support the team, restoring her teammate’s HP and SP to keep the crew fighting fit. Finally, mild-mannered Haru brings the noise with her grenade launcher and can group enemies up for devastating area-of-effect attacks.
