Paulette Garafalo, President, and CEO of Paul Stuart says, “Our customers look to the Phineas Cole collection at Paul Stuart each season for items that satisfy their need for the finest designs in tailored clothing and sportswear.”

This season the Phineas Cole collection features bold color, strong patterns, and luxurious materials. The American brand designed by Creative Director Ralph Auriemma is the epitome of contemporary styling. “The Phineas Cole guy is a forward thinker when it comes to his wardrobe,” says Auriemma. “He has his own personal style that’s rooted in men’s fashion.”

For the man who still needs and wears a beautifully tailored jacket or suit, there are double-breasted peak lapel houndstooth and chalk stripe suits. Soft-colored Shetland tweeds that have a slim silhouette with expression in the lapels and suppression at the waist. Auriemma says, “These suits are inspired by ones typically worn in the 1960s by musicians. I’ve updated them with modern tailoring details for a sleek silhouette.” Auriemma likes to see these styles paired with turtlenecks and accessorized with Chelsea boots or classic lace-up sneakers.

Paulette Garafalo, President, and CEO of Paul Stuart says, “Our customers look to the Phineas Cole collection at Paul Stuart each season for items that satisfy their need for the finest designs in tailored clothing and sportswear in the ultimate quality available. This segment of our menswear business at Paul Stuart continues to grow for the company.”

The youthful Academy collection is back this fall for a second semester after the introduction of military details in the spring. These include gold military buttons on a wool greatcoat that has been shortened for a slimmer silhouette and on a military-inspired cadet jacket with epaulets and box pleat pockets. Auriemma says, “Military styling in the Phineas Cole fall collections always looks right to me and this season is no exception.”

Auriemma pairs bold sport jackets with luxurious cashmere turtlenecks instead of traditional shirting, slim fits, and lots of colorful sportswear in bold plaids, bright colors, and striped sweaters. Suit jackets are tweaked with exaggerated lapels in check and chalk stripes to be worn over turtlenecks.

The English Manor collection has evolved from its initial launch in Spring 2021 with a complete wardrobe of styles to choose from for life in the countryside. Auriemma says, “The new English Manor styles feature a sporty but subdued casual elegance. I design these collections for the contemporary man who wants to look elegant and well-dressed while feeling comfortable in their sartorial choices.”

Military-inspired outerwear appears here with the introduction of a dramatic cotton cape coat in khaki, wool army blazers, and full-length Melton wool coats with gold buttons. Auriemma pairs these with high waistband trousers to complement single and double-breasted sport jackets in luxurious cashmere and Italian wool with slim constructions.
