Realistic physics and arcade-style gameplay come together to deliver an awesome RC VR racing experience.

RC Rush is the newest game from Tea Monster Games that will have you racing RC monster trucks across a variety of unique environments, from a scrap yard and playground to an ancient Egyptian tomb and an active volcano!

There are over 30 different tracks available in RC Rush, each with its own gritty twists. In addition to a gauntlet of obstacles and jumps, you’ll also need to keep a lookout for other players. In order to stay ahead of the competition, you may need to get a little down and dirty with some shady bumping maneuvers that will send your opponents flying off of the track.

When it comes to RC racing, there are no rules!

Unlike a real-world RC car which is controlled via a single controller, virtual monster trucks in RC Rush are controlled using both of your VR controllers. The trigger on your right controller is used to go forward. The harder you pull the trigger, the faster your truck goes. The left controller is used for steering and reversing your vehicle. You use the touchpad to steer your truck, while the trigger is used to go backward. Mastering RC Rush is about knowing when to go full throttle on the track and when to ease up on the pedal.

RC Rush uses realistic physics to immerse you in an authentic racing experience. Hit a jump at the wrong angle and you’ll flip your truck. Collide with another truck and you’ll lose control and potentially veer off the track. At the same time, RC Rush does include several features designed to enhance your VR racing experience. If you happen to flip your truck over, for instance, the system will slowly flip your truck back over so you can get back in the action.

RC Rush can be experienced in a variety of ways. You can play the game in VR and control your vehicle from the sidelines or in standard desktop mode using a gamepad or keyboard and mice. Non-VR mode offers three different viewpoints (standing, behind the truck, and top-down).

In terms of visuals, RC Rush is pure eye-candy. Each truck and track features a generous amount of detail. I had a blast racing around the moon against other trucks, hitting jumps, and hearing that high-pitched whirring sound RC trucks make when they fly past you.

You’re presented with three trucks at the start of the game, each featuring its own strengths and weaknesses. Maybe you’re looking for a tank that trades speed for damage. Or perhaps you’re looking for a truck with a little more speed but is prone to crashing if bumped by a competitor. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock additional vehicles, offering a generous amount of replayability.

But wait, there’s more! You see, RC Rush isn’t all fast-paced racing action. The game offers two different crawler-style levels that allow you to freely explore different environments at your leisure. This can be an excellent way to practice your driving skills while familiarizing yourself with each vehicle’s strengths and weaknesses.

RC Rush features two different game modes which having you going head-to-head with other drivers or against AI (which can be boosted for even more competition). Quick Race lets you choose any track you’ve unlocked for a quick one-off race. Full-Career mode includes a whopping 100 races with eliminations and time trials. Master these and you’ll become the ultimate RC champion!

RC Rush was developed by Tea Monster Games and will be available on the Steam store starting on October 8th.
