Russia has paid off the leases for 92 aircraft from leasing company AerCap.
The aircraft were operated by Russian airlines including Aeroflot, S7 and Ural.
Russian-based NLK Finance will take over the leases.
The aircraft were previously re-registered to the Russian register and will no longer to seizure overseas.
