Welcome to Polygon’s final weekend deal collection of 2023. While we won’t have another weekend post for you all until Jan. 6, 2024, we’ve got plenty of awesome discounts below to carry you through the new year. For instance, the Epic Games Store Holiday Sale is offering a sitewide 33% discount on games, in addition to offering a new, free game every day through Jan. 10, 2024. But just in case Epic doesn’t have what you’re looking for, you can also check out the holiday sales happening at Steam and Fanatical too.

The best gaming deals this week

This is a reminder that you should browse the catalog of available games at the Epic Games Store. Because through Jan. 10, 2024, you can get a multi-use coupon that lets you save 33% on anything in the Epic catalog, and earn 10% back on everything you buy as Epic Rewards Points, which can be applied as discounts on future purchases.

The 33% discount is automatically applied at checkout, and can be used on anything currently available on the Epic Games Store, including new releases and games that are already discounted. However, purchases containing in-game currency, DLC, or pre-orders aren’t eligible.

Physical copies of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, another one of our favorite games for the PlayStation 5, are still discounted to $39.99 at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy (was $59.99). Armored Core 6 features a staggering level of customization and recently received a substantial update which added even more parts, ranked matchmaking, new PvP maps, and more.

If the Holiday sales at Epic or Steam don’t have what you’re looking for, you might want to check out the build-your-own bundle sale happening at Fanatical, which lets you pick up titles like Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, and more for as little as $6.86 each. We don’t normally point out TV deals in our weekend roundups because, frankly, very few people roll out of bed during the weekend ready to spend over $1,000. But that’s exactly why you should check out this deal on the 48-inch model of the LG A2 OLED TV at Best Buy. Typically, this model is $1,299.99, but you can pick one up right now for just $549.99. While the A2 lacks gamer-centric features like variable refresh rate, 120 Hz mode, or FreeSync compatibility, this is still a solid option if you’re in the market for an inexpensive OLED. It’s a fantastic find if you primarily watch movies and TV shows.

If you’re one of those people who will ardently defend Die Hard as essential viewing during Christmas, you can currently pick up the 30th anniversary 4K Blu-ray of Die Hard at Best Buy for $12.99 (was $18.99).

The Holdovers has quickly become a contender for best picture this year, but if you’re looking to avoid going to the movies over the holidays, it’ll be available to watch on Peacock starting Dec. 29. Unfortunately, there aren’t any noteworthy deals on the streaming service currently, but monthly, ad-supported plans start at $5.99, while annual subscriptions start at $59.99.
