Shiba Inu Responds to Elon Musk Appreciation Tweet, Says Its “DMs Are Open”

Days after inviting Elon Musk to the upcoming Blockchain Futuristic Conference, Shiba Inu tells the American billionaire its DMs are open. 

The official Twitter handle of Shiba Inu is apparently inviting American businessman Elon Musk to send a DM.

Shiba Inu made the invitation yesterday after Musk tweeted an appreciation message for content creators on the platform.

Yesterday, the prominent American businessman noted that he gets more laughs on Twitter than everything else combined. He further expressed gratitude to Twitter users for posting “great content.”

Interestingly, Shiba Inu took advantage of the opportunity and informed Musk that its “DMs are open.”

Notably, Shiba Inu attached a gif from the 1997 Titanic movie. However, Shiba Inu replaced the faces of Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) with that of Musk and the SHIB mascot, suggesting a romantic gesture between them.

Kusama Invites Musk to Attend Blockchain Futuristic Conference

As reported by The Crypto Basic, the development comes days after Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama invited Musk to attend the Blockchain Futuristic Conference scheduled to take place in Canada later this month.

It bears mentioning that Shiba Inu is the title sponsor of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference. The event is important for the Shiba Inu community for several reasons. 

Firstly, Kusama disclosed earlier that the mainnet version of Shibarium may be released at the event. Secondly, the team behind Shiba Inu is planning to exhibit the much-anticipated World Paper, showing the cryptocurrency’s roadmap and all its branded projects.

Thirdly, Shiba Inu will unveil the details of its ecosystem token TREAT for the first time. Fourthly, Kusama noted in a blog post that he will deliver a virtual speech at the conference.

As reported, Kusama will deliver the speech using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

Reason Behind the Invitation

With the Blockchain Futuristic Conference expected to feature several Shiba Inu-related programs, the team hopes that a prominent figure like Musk will grace the event, and it would be a big boost for the SHIB community to have Musk in their conference. Hence, prompting Kusama to extend a warm invitation to the billionaire. However, Musk has yet to respond to the invitation, prompting Shiba Inu to inform him that its “DMs are open.”
