I’ve read this a few times now, what does this really mean, and why does it need to be written like this?

The Capital Group Companies, Inc. (”CGC”) is the parent company of Capital Research and Management Company (”CRMC”) and Capital Bank & Trust Company (”CB&T”). The Apple AirTag uses the Nordic nRF52832, so maybe this is related to this, not sure.
