Not sure who to add to your party? Our Souls best heroes guide is here to help you. In this article, I’ll round up who I consider to be the best heroes in Souls, and detail exactly why I feel that way. That way, you can decide on who you should add to your party, and who you’d like to skip. I’ll also update this guide whenever a new hero drops. Well, as long as it’s good. So bookmark this page and check back often.

Souls is a mobile gacha RPG by Habby, the makers of huge hits like Archero and Survivor.io. It’s a gorgeous offering, that sees you exploring a stunning 3D world. Along the way, you will encounter enemies that you battle turn-based style. Putting together a solid team is the aim of the game here, so you can see why this guide is so helpful.

You can check out Souls right now on Google Play. If you like Habby games, I also recommend checking out our Survivor.io tier list.

Souls Best Heroes

Now, let’s take a look at who we consider to be the Souls best heroes and why.

  • Aolmond
  • Dolucos
  • Kaion
  • Lulu
  • Solina

Aolmond

Aolmond is a super powerful healer that can keep your party alive even against the most devastating teams. His skills provide regular HoT (healing over time) to all allies, remove debuffs, and buffs his healing abilities. That’s alongside active healing and pretty solid DPS.

Skills

  • Lunar Owl (Active): Heal yourself and adjacent allies by 75% of your ATK, and a apply a HoT buff, healing for 60% of your ATK for 3 turns.
  • Spirit Release (Passive): Gain 100 Energy at the start of battle.
  • Warm Heart (Passive): At the end of odd-numbered rounds, remove 2 debuffs from yourself and adjacent allies, and apply a buff that increases Healing Received by 20% for 1 turn.
  • Inspiring Touch (Passive): At the start of every 2 rounds, apply a HoT buff to the ally with the lowest HP, healing for 40% of your ATK for 2 turns.
  • Amplified Nature (Awaken): Whenever an ally uses an active skill, Aolmond’s healing amount increases by 4% up to 60%.

Dolucos

Dolucos will absolutely destroy hordes of enemies with his Chain Lightning active skill, which he can use very regularly thanks to his two passives that help charge Energy. Not only that, but Dolucos is one of the least squishy damage dealers as he can regularly heal a ton of his HP.

Skills

  • Chain Lightning (Active): Deal ATK 155% damage to adjacent enemies in a chain attack. This attack can be chained up to 3 times, and with each chain, the ATK increases by 20%.
  • Lightning (Passive): ATK of normal attack increases by 30%, and you gain an additional 30 Energy from a normal attack.
  • Subtle Method (Passive): At the end of every 2 rounds, remove 2 debuffs from yourself and all allies in the same row. Upon removing a debuff, you gain 30 Energy.
  • Awe (Passive): At the start of every 5 rounds, heal 50% of max HP.
  • Grand Magician (Awaken): If all allies are killed and you are the last one standing, you transform into a giant for 2 turns, increasing ATK by 70% and DEF by 100% once per battle.

Kaion

Kaion is a damage dealer that you want in the frontline, preferably in front of the enemy’s support unit. Suffocating Blow will devastate all enemies in a line, and heal you in the process. Kaion might be a bit squishy, but he more than makes up for it with his intensely powerful attacks.

Skills

  • Suffocating Blow (Active): Deal ATK 180% damage to an enemy and all enemies in a straight path behind it, and heal yourself by 50% of the damage dealt.
  • Devouring Blade (Passive): Gain Physical Resistance +15% and ATK of normal attack increases by 45%.
  • Wounded Beast (Passive): At the start of each round from round 2, ATK increases by 6% up to 60%.
  • Wild Instinct (Passive): The closer you are to the enemy, the higher ATK increases, up to 40%.
  • Warrior of the Battlefield (Awaken): Just before death, gain a Shield equal to 45% of max HP for 2 turns and survive. Gain an additional 100 Energy.

Lulu

Lulu is one of the most powerful support units in the game. What she lacks in heals, she makes up in the Energy she spreads around with wild abandon. This allows your team to pull off their active skills far more often.

Not only that, but she can help provide heals, defend your most powerful damage dealer, and boost ATK for all units. She’s a very complete support unit.

Skills

  • Victory Performance (Active): Increase the Energy of all allies by 50, and apply a buff to them that increases their ATK by 20% for 2 turns.
  • Magic Arrow (Passive): Normal attacks deal ATK 103% damage to all enemies in the front row, and it heals the ally with the lowest HP by 50% of the damage dealt.
  • Inner Rage (Passive): Whenever an ally dies, increase the Energy of all allies by 40. Can only activate 5 times per battle.
  • Soothing Light (Passive): At the start of round 2, apply a Shield to the ally with the highest ATK, equal to 160% of your ATK for 3 turns.
  • Harp Player (Awaken): Upon death, increase the Energy of all allies by 50, and apply a buff to them that increases ATK by 15% for 2 turns. Can only activate once per battle.

Solina

If you want a straight up healer, look no further than Solina. Her active heals, provides shields, and removes debuffs from the two units with the least HP. Not only that, but she can boost speed of all allies, revive once per battle, and deal out Energy.

Skills

  • Prayer of Healing (Active): Heal 2 allies with low HP by ATK 155%, and apply them a Shield equal to 20% of their max HP for 2 turns. Additionally, remove all debuffs from them.
  • Ultimate Sacrifice (Passive): At the start of battle, permanently increase the Speed of all allies by 20.
  • Warm Heart (Passive): Increase Dodge Rate by 25%. If your HP falls below 35%, heal yourself by 30% of max HP once per battle.
  • Unfailing Faith (Passive): If an ally’s HP falls below 50%, you gain 50 Energy once per battle.
  • Divine Miracle (Awaken): When using an active skill, revive 1x random dead ally with 70% HP and 100% Energy once per battle.
