Super Metro has unveiled plans to introduce electric buses operating from the Nairobi CBD to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a statement on Tuesday, October 10, the transport company indicated that the route expansion aligns with its growth strategies.
The company also noted that there would be free rides for travellers who will be taking their first trips.
Additionally, other modern buses will also be introduced.

“Soon, we will be launching new electric buses and more of the 7th Generation NQR series which will be operating from CBD straight to JKIA,” a statement from the company readt.
The decision by the company is aimed at helping customers catch their flight time.
