Throughout the last few months of weapon balancing in Call of Duty: Warzone, it’s safe to say that there are very few guns that have been changed more than the FARA 83.
Previously released as a close-range assault rifle with a fast rate of fire to compete with the battle royale’s SMGs, the FARA has since evolved into yet another competitor in the long-range AR meta thanks to its stats tweaks over time. While it still can do a job as a pseudo-SMG, the FARA’s strengths now lie as either a sniper support weapon or as the main assault rifle in your loadout.
In Warzone Season 4, it is actually being dubbed as one of the best ARs in the game right now, and is performing at a par with the likes of the XM4, the Kilo, or the RAM-7. While the best AMAX Warzone loadout is still the top dog in the AR department, the FARA is certainly close to matching it.
But what is the best combination of attachments for the FARA in Warzone Season 4? Well, we think we’ve found the best loadouts for both long-range and sniper support.
Best FARA Warzone loadout Long-range
- GRU Suppressor
- 18.7” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
- Axial Arms 3x
- Spetsnaz 60 Rnd
- GRU Elastic Wrap
To make this the best long-range assault rifle it can be, this FARA class features the usual culprits when it comes to attachments. The GRU Suppressor and Spetsnaz barrel tank up its damage range and bullet velocity, while the GRU Elastic Wrap will boost your ADS times.
Of course, no long-range weapon is complete without a chunky magazine and a scope with decent zoom.
You’ll want to pair this with a deadly SMG for close-range battles – we suggest jumping into our best MAC-10 Warzone loadout for inspiration.
For perks, we suggest the standard trio of Overkill, Double Time, and Amped. For secondaries, a Heartbeat Sensor and Semtex should be your go to.
Best FARA Warzone loadout sniper support

- KGB Skeletal Stock

While there are a few shared attachments between this build and the long-range build above, there is more of a focus in this FARA 83 class on movement and mobility stats. The KGB Skeletal Stock bumps those areas up considerably, and running the regular Suppresor (instead of the GRU Suppressor) means you take a less of a hit to those stats.
As a sniper support class, you’ll obviously be wanting a strong option for pinging heads. You can’t go wrong with the build in our best Kar98k Warzone loadout, to be honest.
For perks and equipment, the same combinations as above will do you well here: Double Time, Overkill, and Amped for perks, and Heartbeat Sensor and Semtex for equipment.
The FARA 83 is certainly one of the best Warzone guns in Season 4 right now, and its super adaptable too. Regardless of what build you choose, it’s certainly creeping its way into the Warzone meta.
