In a few short days, Rosaria will be obtainable in Genshin Impact 1.4!
The unconventional nun with a penchant for ale looks to be a solid DPS fighter, wielding a polearm and Cryo vision with deadly effect.
While not a fan of Barbados, her fellow sisters, or working in general, Rosaria does seem to have the drive to protect others in her own way.
A dexterous warrior, Rosaria controls the battlefield unleashing ice while getting behind her opponents to deal devastating blows.
To use her to her best effect, build her with the following:
Rosaria Best Artifacts
Mixing Gladiator’s Finale and Bloodstained Chivalry, with a focus on Crit DMG, Crit Rate, and ATK% focus Rosaria on raw power, allowing her to pump out massive amounts of damage.
Making sure she has a bit of Energy Recharge will make sure the Cryo DMG keeps flowing, allowing Electro support characters to Supercharge foes for even more damage.
The two-piece Gladiator’s Finale bonus gives Rosaria an 18% bump in ATK, while the two-piece bonus for Bloodstained Chivalry pushes her Physical DMG up by 25%.
For a bit of an additional boost, players can try adding a single Blizzard Strayer piece to the Flower spot to get some additional Cryo DMG support in the mix.

Rosaria Best Weapons
There are two excellent polearms for Rosaria, both 4-Star. The first is the Dragonspine Spear, which is freely available to those players who unlock the plans for it while exploring Dragonspine Mountain.
The 4-Star polearm takes a bit of work to craft, but provides the following stats at Level 1.
- Base ATK: 41
- Secondary Stat Type: Physical DMG Bonus
- Secondary Stat: 15%
- Ability: Frost Burial – Hitting an enemy with Normal and Charged Attacks has a 60% chance of forming and dropping an Everfrost Icicle above them dealing 80% AoE ATK DMG. Enemies affected by Cryo are dealt 200% ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 10s.
When refined to Level 5, Frost Burial‘s increase goes from a 60% change of dropping an Everfrost Icicle to 100%.
Its 80% AoE ATK DMG raised to 140%, while the additional 200% ATK DMG to affected enemies rises to 360%.
At Level 90, the Dragonspine Spear’s stats are as follows:
- Base ATK: 454
- Secondary Stat Type: Physical DMG Bonus
- Secondary Stat: 69%
The Dragonspine Spear needs 1 Northlander Polearm Billet, 50 Silverstar Ore, 8 Revitalized Dragon Tooth, and 500 Mora to craft.
An alternative to the Dragonspine Spear is the 4-Star Crescent Pike, which has the following stats at Level 1:
- Base ATK: 44
- Secondary Stat Type: Physical DMG Bonus
- Secondary Stat: 13.3%
- Ability: Infusion Needle – After picking up an Elemental Orb/Particle, Normal and Charged Attacks deal an additional 20% ATK as DMG for 5s.
When refined to Level 5, Infusion Needle deals an additional 40% ATK as DMG instead of 20%.
At Level 90, the Favonius Warbow has the following stats:
- Base ATK: 454
- Secondary Stat Type: Energy Recharge
- Secondary Stat: 61.3%
The Crescent Pike needs 1 Northlander Polearm Billet, 50 Crystal Chunk, 50 White Iron Ore, and 500 Mora to craft.
If players want to focus on Rosaria’s Elemental Burst instead of raw DMG output, they are probably better off with the Skyward Spine or Prototype Starglitter, though right now her Physical DMG build seems better at this point in time.

Rosaria Best Teammates
This Rosaria build runs pure DMG, yet still allows her to utilize Cryo to full effect.
Fischl makes for great Electro support to supercharge foes or apply electro to enemies via Oz.
Xiangling and Bennet fill out the roster, giving Rosaria a buff for having two Pyro characters for Elemental Resonance, as well as keeping Bennet around to heal characters and give a physical buff at the same time.
Zhongli is also a good choice if players have him and do not wish to toss in Xiangling since Bennet is already in there.
Zhongli’s shield makes Rosaria almost invulnerable as she dishes out hit after hit.

Are Her Constellations Good?
- Unholy Revelation – Constellation Level 1
- Critical hits increase Rosaria’s Normal Attack Speed by 10 percent for three seconds, and her Normal Attack Damage increases by 10 percent for 4 seconds.
- Land Without Promise – Constellation Level 2
- Extends the duration of the Ice Lances created by Last Rites by four seconds.
- Sacrament of Penance – Constellation Level 3
- Increases the Level of Ravaging Confession by three. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Amazing Disgrace – Constellation Level 4
- When Rosaria’s Ravaging Confession lands a Critical Hit, it restores Five Energy to Rosaria. This can only occur once per Elemental Skill
- Extreme Unction – Constellation Level 5
- Increases the Level of Rosaria’s Last Rites by three. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Devine Retribution – Constellation Level 6
- When Last Rites hits an opponent, it decreases their Physical Resistance by five percent for 10 seconds. The maximum is four stacks at once.
All of Rosaris’ constellation levels feel pretty spot on at first glance, though only time will tell how effective each is when it comes to her overall damage.
Unholy Revelation seems like a particularly good buff, especially for a Level 1 constellation.
Devine Retribution packs a powerful punch, dropping the physical resistance of foes for up to 40 seconds, allowing Rosaria the shred them with her beefed stats and potential buffs from Bennett and the Elemental Resonance provided by also including Xiangling.
These will become a bit more clear once Rosaria is out in the wild and players have a chance to put her through her paces.
